Bob Dylan tour continues as fans note ‘standout’ moment during Dothan show

Bob Dylan’s stop-off in Dothan, Alabama, on the Spring 2026 tour has been hailed by fans as a “standout” show.

The veteran performer is continuing on his Spring 2026 tour, which has been extended to include several summer dates. The set now includes cuttings from Oh Mercy, Time Out of Mind, and John Wesley Harding. Fans who attended the show in Dothan, Alabama, were full of praise for Dylan and the band, who appear to have set a high bar for future performances after their appearance at the Dothan Civic Center Arena.

Lots of young and old people and a very good venue with a nice merch booth. The show was very short, but the songs were great with fast and slow ones to keep you on your toes.

“Bob was in his usual hoodie and jeans and played piano with a surprise harmonica solo on one of the last songs. He addressed the crowd once by saying thank you and introducing his band. After the show, he walked centre stage and waved to all of his fans and exited really fast. Great show great mood. I love the vibe Dylan brings to these newer set of shows with minimal lighting really good stuff!”

Another attendee added: “I also thought the show was superb. Stand-outs for me were I Made Up My Mind to Give Myself to You, False Prophet, Black Rider, and Crossing the Rubicon. Bob had good energy and vibe tonight.”

A third shared: “Crossing the Rubicon was one of my top songs last night, and I loved the new arrangement of I Contain Multitudes! To Be Alone with You absolutely rocked as the opener, and Nervous Breakdown was a very cool cover.

“I also enjoyed Black Rider, I’ve Made Up My Mind to Give Myself to You, and Love Sick. The whole show was awesome, really. I thought Dylan’s voice was very clear! I love how excited everyone got when he finally broke out into a harmonica solo at the end!”
