Pulp has performed a slimmed-down set as part of their French festival tour date. The Jarvis Cocker-fronted band performed just 12 songs at their show at Beauregard Festival 2026, less than half of their usual headline shows in Cologne and Berlin last month. The shortened setlist is due to time constraints imposed by the festival, and a similar experience may be set for the band’s Mad Cool Festival performance.
Fans who had attended the Pulp shows across the UK and Ireland last year were given the chance to vote on a song for the second set of the evening during an intermission. Such an option was unavailable in the band’s slot on the Festival Beauregard show, and understandably so. Instead, Pulp performed 12 of their very best songs, though had to drop Got to Have Love, the second single from their latest album, More.

Pulp are set for a busy month with two more performances in Paris, one in Paris on July 6 and another in Lyon on July 8 scheduled before they headline Mad Cool Festival. The band will also perform at the Royal Festival Hall in London, where they will play More in full for the first time. A performance in County Waterford, Ireland, is also scheduled for July 31.
The band will perform just two more shows after that, with their final performance of the year scheduled for September 5 at the End of the Road festival. The festival performance comes just a few days after Pulp performed Pencil Skirt for the first time since 2012. It means that all of the original Different Class songs have now been performed on the Encore run of shows, which started in 2023.
The band had opened their 2023 shows with I Spy, and almost every show since then has featured classic songs like Disco 2000, Common People, Something Changed, and Mis-Shapes. Other tracks like Bar Italia and Monday Morning had been performed relatively infrequently since the 2023 reunion, but Pencil Skirt had not featured in any shows until the Palladium performance in Cologne.
