Bob Dylan has featured a song from Time Out of Mind that last appeared on his setlist in 2019.
The veteran songwriter, 85, is currently on his Summer 2026 tour of North America and has delighted fans with performances of unlikely songs. The one-off performances of I Shall Be Released and Baby, Won’t You Be My Baby, thrilled attendees who were holding out hope for another rarity to feature in the set. Dylan did just that with his performance at his Thunder Valley Casino show last night in Lincoln, California (June 12). The setlist featured rarities from Time Out of Mind and Oh Mercy, as well as contemporary material from his last two albums of original songs, Rough and Rowdy Ways and Tempest.

Changes to the setlist so far have included dropping several Rough and Rowdy Ways tracks, the inclusion of Baby, Wont’t You Be My Baby for the first time ever, and a performance of I Shall Be Released. Dylan’s North America tour is set to continue across June and July.
Fans were thrilled by the first setlist of the summer show too, with attendees taking to the Expecting Rain forum to praise Dylan. One person wrote: “No obstacles blocking Bob. Visible from all angles. He stood much of the show. He was not as far back as some other shows. Still in Oregon.
“Would help if he could sing into one of the mics. He did much more of that as the show went on. I agree, from Masterpiece on was much better than what came before. Not sure if an all-acoustic show works for the big venue, but it was nice for those of us down in front. God bless him for still being out there doing it. Thank you, Bob.”
