Bob Dylan settles on Summer 2026 tour setlist with bootleg rarity dropped from show

Bob Dylan has seemingly settled on his summer setlist after performing a Basement Tapes bootleg for the first time.

The veteran songwriter, 85, is set to perform further dates across North America, following on from his Spring 2026 tour. Dylan and his band opted to end the Rough and Rowdy Ways tour structure, dropping several songs from his 2020 studio album in favour of classics from his discography. Deep cuts were also featured as Dylan performed Baby, Won’t You Be My Baby for the first time in his career. The song has since been dropped, though it is a sign of setlist variation.

Dylan performed an identical setlist across his Spring 2026 tour, aside from the first date where he played Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right. The second Dylan show at the Chateau Ste. Michelle Amphitheatre in Woodinville, Washington State, had Dylan perform songs from his Greatest Hits compilation album, Rough and Rowdy Ways, and Under the Red Sky

A full setlist for the second show at Chateau Ste. Michelle Amphitheatre can be found below.

  • To Be Alone With You
  • Man in the Long Black Coat
  • All Along the Watchtower
  • Goodbye Jimmy Reed
  • I’ll Make It All Up to You (Jerry Lee Lewis cover)
  • Black Rider
  • I Can Tell (Bo Diddley cover)
  • Share Your Love With Me (Bobby Bland cover)
  • When I Paint My Masterpiece
  • False Prophet
  • Soon After Midnight
  • Crossing the Rubicon
  • I’ve Made Up My Mind to Give Myself to You
  • Under the Red Sky
  • Nervous Breakdown (Eddie Cochran cover)

Fans were thrilled by the first setlist of the summer show too, with attendees taking to the Expecting Rain forum to praise Dylan. One person wrote: “No obstacles blocking Bob. Visible from all angles. He stood much of the show. He was not as far back as some other shows. Still in Oregon.

“Would help if he could sing into one of the mics. He did much more of that as the show went on. I agree, from Masterpiece on was much better than what came before. Not sure if an all-acoustic show works for the big venue, but it was nice for those of us down in front. God bless him for still being out there doing it. Thank you, Bob.”

Another wrote: “Baby, Won’t You Be My Baby, as in The Basement Tapes song? That’s one obscure live debut right there.” A third added: “Baby, Won’t You Be My Baby was perhaps the strongest song of the show. He nailed all the words and didn’t appear to be reading the lyrics.”

Despite the massive setlist overhaul, some fans were sad to see the absence of one song that had featured on the Rough and Rowdy Ways setlist. The album itself featured only two songs – Crossing the Rubicon and I Contain Multitudes – but dropped another song which had rounded off most shows on the 2025 tour. Baby, Won’t You Be My Baby remains in the setlist for the second night of the tour.
