What Pulp played on second London show of ‘More’ tour – including Separations tease

The continuation of the More tour saw Pulp take to the stage for another London show, with hints of what their future setlist could feature.

Pulp, fresh off the back of topping the UK Album Charts on Friday (June 13) with new album, More, performed to a packed O2 Arena crowd last night. Their setlist tonight featured many of the same songs, but rectified a minor change heard on the first night of their two-day showcase at the London venue. There was also a tease of older material, which predates the oldest track played on the band’s return to the stage so far. While Razzmatazz featured on the group’s Encore tour in 2023 and 2024, the Jarvis Cocker-fronted band has seemingly ditched the fan favourite in favour of deep cuts. So far, the group has treated the audience to Seconds, Dishes, and Party Hard.

The choice from the London crowd on their second night featured a song from the same album as Razzmatazz, with audiences choosing between 59 Lyndhurst Grove and Separations track, Don’t You Want Me Anymore?, the latter of which having not been played by the band since 2012. It was played just once during a date at the One Love Festival in Istanbul, Turkey. Before 2012, the song had not been performed since 1992.

It appears it could be set for a return at either the Birmingham or Manchester show, however, with the choice being up to the crowd. Along with 59 Lyndurst Grove was a brief performance of Happy Birthday to You, which was delivered to bassist Andrew McKinney. The band will perform just two more dates on their UK and Ireland tour, with Pulp set to perform in Birmingham on Thursday (June 19) and Manchester on Saturday (June 21). Cult Following will be covering both performances. Previous reviews of the shows in Glasgow and Dublin can be found by following the links.

59 Lyndhurst Grove was also performed by the band tonight for the first time since a gig in Chile back in 2012. Before that, the song had last been performed by Pulp in 1996 at a gig in Washington, DC. Other deep cuts from the band have been spotted on setlists this year, with We Are the Boys forming part of a performance at BBC Radio Theatre. Seconds was also included on the setlist, and later performed at the More kick-off show in Glasgow.
