Bob Dylan has slowly but surely been adding Time Out of Mind deep cuts to his European tour setlist.
The veteran songwriter performed both Love Sick and Million Miles, the latter for just the 77th time in his career, at a performance in Germany last week. Now, Dylan has brought in Not Dark Yet for the first time since 2019. It marks the fourth Time Out of Mind song to feature in a show on the Lights of Autumn tour, with the other song featured being Tryin’ to Get to Heaven. Other rarities from Dylan’s career have been featured on the European tour, with the return of Tangled Up in Blue, Spirit on the Water, and Girl from the North Country all confirmed. Dylan has also changed the lyrics to the Blood on the Tracks classic, which has featured on every show of the European tour so far.

Dylan had not performed Million Miles since a show in Greece on June 23, 2014. The song has rarely been featured in his live shows, with just 77 performances including last night’s surprise inclusion. With both Love Sick and Tryin’ to Get to Heaven too, it means Dylan has performed three songs from Time Out of Mind during his show at the ÖVB Arena.
Dylan has been changing his setlist slightly from show to show, with the likes of Blind Willie McTell, Tangled Up in Blue, Girl From the North Country, and Spirit on the Water debuting this year. Dylan will play further dates in Belgium (which Cult Following will be covering), Switzerland, and the United Kingdom (also covered by Cult Following).
Fans would have to cast their mind back a little for the last rendition of Girl from the North Country, a classic from Dylan’s discography. The song’s performance tonight is the first since Dylan performed at The Anthem in Washington D.C. back in December 2019. The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan cut would feature as a Johnny Cash collaboration on Dylan’s Nashville Skyline album in 1969. Dylan has performed the song 590 times since 1963.
Every Grain of Sand will be a familiar inclusion for those who have caught Dylan’s recent Rough and Rowdy Ways tour and this current Lights of Autumn run. Dylan has performed the song 291 times over the last five years, with 39 of those performances from the 2026 tour.
