Bruce Springsteen’s show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has left fans wanting more from the veteran rocker.
The Boss performed a show at the PPG Paints Arena last night (May 19), and while many believe it was an “incredible” show on the Land of Hope and Dreams tour, some were left wanting more from Springsteen. A post to the r/BruceSpringsteen subreddit saw many fans hail the show as one of the best on the tour, though a few members of the public had hoped for some setlist changes. Springsteen has performed, more or less, the same setlist from night to night on his North American tour. His setlist has featured covers of The Clash and Bob Dylan, as well as new song, Streets of Minneapolis.

One fan took to the Springsteen forum and shared their thoughts on an “incredible” show. They wrote: “I was there!! Incredible show!! That band is so tight, and every band member is their own force of nature. Bruce is so passionate about his message, and you could feel his soul permeate throughout the arena tonight.”
Another added: “My first show. It was rad, but I forgot how dangerous dancing in the cheap seats is at PPG.” A third wrote: “Fabulous! In the pit for the first time in 19 years. Different perspective-you can really tell how hard these folks work, especially Bruce. He seems to really like Pittsburgh!”
Others were let down by the lack of special songs in the mix for what some claim is one of Springsteen’s favourite places to perform. One fan wrote: “He does love playing in Pittsburgh and that would typically result in special set list choices. Not tonight, though, it was the same set list as every other show.”
The Land of Hope and Dreams tour is set to continue for the rest of May, with a final show scheduled for May 30 in Philadelphia.
