Bruce Springsteen has been praised by fans for his ongoing Land of Hope and Dreams tour.
Attendees of a show at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, hailed The Boss for what they believe is the best show of the tour to date. Springsteen had previously performed in his hometown of New Jersey, but the twenty-seven-song set he performed last night (May 2), is reportedly the best The Boss has ever been. Fans took to the r/BruceSpringsteen subreddit to share their thoughts on the show, with one writing: “So, fourth Bruce show. Easily best one. The energy in the room tonight was amazing. The Ghost of Tom Joad was the highlight of the whole night.”
Another added: “Seems like they found what works for the tour and are sticking to it now – which is fine by me. American Land should’ve been there from the get-go, glad it’s staying.” A third wrote: “Interesting that it specifies Badlands in E major. I wonder if they’ve experimented in rehearsals with lowering the key as they have with Born in the USA.”

Springsteen has performed Clampdown, a cover of The Clash, only a handful of times in his career. The Land of Hope and Dreams tour has featured the song as part of Springsteen’s set more than any other tour to date. Chimes of Freedom, a cover of Bob Dylan, also featured on this tour as it did on the European run of shows last year.
Springsteen and The E Street band are set to tour across the US between April and May, with dates in Arizona, New York, and Boston to come. In a statement issued in February, Springsteen shared the reason behind touring in the US at such a fraught political time. He said: “We are living through dark, disturbing and dangerous times, but do not despair — the cavalry is coming!
“Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will be taking the stage this spring from Minneapolis to California to Texas to Washington, D.C. for the Land of Hope And Dreams American Tour. We will be rocking your town in celebration and in defense of America — American democracy, American freedom, our American Constitution and our sacred American dream — all of which are under attack by our wannabe king and his rogue government in Washington, D.C. Everyone, regardless of where you stand or what you believe in, is welcome — so come on out and join the United Free Republic of E Street Nation for an American spring of Rock ‘n’ Rebellion! I’ll see you there!”
