Madness has confirmed the release of Hit Parade, a compilation album featuring forty-five of their best songs.
The Suggs-fronted group will be touring the UK in December, and will release their compilation effort on November 21. Madness‘ upcoming compilation is set to feature their biggest hits, including One Step Beyond, Night Boat to Cairo, and House of Fun. But also featured are songs from the band’s “early days” as the group promises it’s a “proper nutty collection” of their work from the last four decades. The band will celebrate fifty years since its founding in 2026, and a tour of the UK and Ireland is set to begin later this year. A statement from the group has confirmed Hit Parade will feature their earliest works as well as songs featured on their latest album, C’est La Vie. Madness’ most recent album was released in 2023.
Madness said: “From the early days to the latest tracks… we’ve packed up the lot and brought them all together in Hit Parade. It’s a proper nutty collection of our biggest and best. Press play, turn it up, and enjoy the ride.” The album is set to be released as a 2CD set as well as a 2LP Volume set.
The first volume compiles work from 1979 to 1986, while the second will feature songs released between 1992 and 2024. A full tracklist for Hit Parade can be found below.
