Oasis fans create setlist of songs with ‘no chance’ of being played at Gallagher brothers reunion show

Oasis fans have pieced together a list of songs that have “no chance” of being played at the reunion show next month.

Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher will take to the stage as Oasis for the first time in sixteen years on July 4. Their Live ’25 kick-off show in Cardiff, Wales, comes after controversial dynamic pricing, a series of pop-up shops and resale tickets reaching prices as high as £500. Despite this, fans remain excited for the reunion tour and believe there are at least twenty-two songs which have no chance of appearing in the live set. A post to the r/Oasis subreddit saw one fan share their unlikely setlist, calling it the “Definitely Aren’t Getting Played” list. Among the choices were Definitely Maybe tracks, a UK Singles chart topper, and a song from their last album, Dig Out Your Soul.

The post reads: “Put together a draft set list only consisting of songs that I think have no chance getting played at Live ‘25. I think highest chance is Be Here Now or Round Are Way, the absolute lowest chance is maybe Rockin’ Chair.” The full “Definitely Aren’t Getting Played” setlist can be found below.

  • Be Here Now
  • Cloudburst
  • Hung in a Bad Place
  • (I Got) the Fever
  • My Big Mouth
  • It’s Good to Be Free
  • I Hope I Think I Know
  • The Shock of the Lightning
  • Keep the Dream Alive
  • Little by Little
  • Going Nowhere
  • Who Feels Love
  • Bonehead’s Bank Holiday
  • Hey Now
  • Fade In-Out
  • Rockin’ Chair
  • The Turning
  • Underneath the Sky
  • All Around the World
  • Stay Young
  • Round Are Way
  • It’s Getting Better Man

Fans believe at least one of the songs featured on the list may be a likely choice, given that Noel Gallagher has performed the song frequently on his solo tours. One user wrote: “Little by Little has been a staple on Noel’s set, I say that one’s guaranteed if anything. Does this mean Little James will be played too?”

Another user added: “Was just about to comment the same thing, Noel loves this tune and went down well at his gigs.” A third wrote: “Liam’s played Rockin’ Chair in recent years. I don’t think it’ll make the cut, but it’s got more chance than Bonehead’s Bank Holiday.

Shock of the Lightning was probably their last radio hit, so I’m not expecting it, but wouldn’t be shocked if it was there. I think it did decently in the US, too.”

Some users are hoping Shock of the Lightning is featured on the set, as many fans believe it to be a “real contender” when it comes to featuring Dig Out Your Soul songs.

One user suggested: “Shock of the Lightning is definitely a real contender, one of the biggest songs off Dig Out Your Soul.” Another agreed, adding: “If this is tour is really just a celebratory lap for the band’s history, I could see them trying to pigeonhole at least 1 song per album.

“Even if Standing on the Shoulder of Giants only gets Fuckin’ in the Bushes over the PA as its entry. I don’t know if I’d give Shock of the Lightning a 90% chance, but it’s probably better than 50/50, even if the set is heavily focused around the first two albums and the B-sides everyone knows from those albums.”
