The Brian Jonestown Massacre announce UK and Europe tour for 2025

The Brian Jonestown Massacre has announced an eighteen-date run of shows in early 2025.

Anton Newcombe and the band will appear across the UK and Europe in January and February for a series of shows, confirmed by frontman and songwriter Newcombe. The band released their latest album, The Future is Your Past, in 2023.

The band has also previously completed a worldwide tour which saw them play thirty-four dates in North America and a further twenty-five dates in Europe, with sixteen dates in the UK on top of that. Speaking of their latest record, Newcombe said: “Nobody can stop me, I’m not asking somebody, I’m not making the rounds at Warners, saying ‘please put out my record!’. It’s just for me.

“I would love to see more groups, people playing music in the UK and everywhere else because I really enjoy it. That’s the only reason I need. It’s the only reason to do stuff.” A list of the band’s upcoming tour dates can be found below. Tickets are now on sale, with remaining tickets available here.

The Brian Jonestown Massacre’s previous album, The Future is Your Past, marked a great moment for the band who put distance between what was shown in the controversial rock documentary DiG! and what the band stands for now.

In a review from last year, the album was described as a “powerful concoction, moving nicely with the intensity on display.” The full review of The Brian Jonestown Massacre’s most recent album can be read here.
