Bob Dylan has changed up his setlist yet again as the Lights of Autumn tour continues to surprise attendees.
The veteran songwriter has so far introduced the likes of High Water (for Charley Patton), Not Dark Yet, and Million Miles back to his setlist. Dylan opted to include a newer song during his show at the Unipol Dome in Milan, Italy, bringing back a Rough and Rowdy Ways track that featured in every show of the last five years preceding the Lights of Autumn tour. False Prophet had found itself to be a staple of Dylan’s set from 2021 to 2025, and tonight (November 2) replaced Crossing the Rubicon, another Rough and Rowdy Ways song.

Earlier this month, Dylan brought out a performance of Million Miles, a rarity from Time Out of Mind that had hardly been performed since its release in 1997. It has since featured in many of the Lights of Autumn shows.
Dylan has been changing his setlist slightly from show to show, with the likes of Blind Willie McTell, Tangled Up in Blue, Girl From the North Country, and Spirit on the Water debuting this year. Dylan will play further dates in Belgium (which Cult Following will be covering), Switzerland, and the United Kingdom (also covered by Cult Following).
Fans would have to cast their mind back a little for the last rendition of Girl from the North Country, a classic from Dylan’s discography. The song’s performance tonight is the first since Dylan performed at The Anthem in Washington D.C. back in December 2019. The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan cut would feature as a Johnny Cash collaboration on Dylan’s Nashville Skyline album in 1969. Dylan has performed the song 590 times since 1963.
Every Grain of Sand will be a familiar inclusion for those who have caught Dylan’s recent Rough and Rowdy Ways tour and this current Lights of Autumn run. Dylan has performed the song 291 times over the last five years, with 39 of those performances from the 2026 tour.
Dylan’s European and UK tour continues on November 5 in Rome, Italy, which will be followed by his final Italian date of the year on November 7 in Bologna. Further dates in Europe and the UK are set to follow.
