Rick Astley will perform his Swinging Christmas show at the Royal Albert Hall in December this year.
The Never Gonna Give You Up hitmaker confirmed his show, where Astley covers big band songs and Christmas classics, will return. This year will see Astley appear at the Royal Albert Hall on December 9. Astley performed a Christmas show at the Royal Albert Hall back in 2024, featuring covers of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Cahn, and Irving Berlin. Also featured were festive classics like This Christmas and White Christmas.
Astley said of the upcoming show: “Nothing gets me more in the Christmas spirit than singing these gorgeous songs with this amazing big band at the Royal Albert Hall. Let’s swing into Christmas together!”

Astley has been touring across Europe this summer, with his show featuring covers of AC/DC’s Highway to Hell, Raye’s Where is My Husband!, and Roy Orbison’s Pretty Woman. Also featured in his show are songs from Are We There Yet?, Whenever You Need Somebody, and My Red Book.
Astley performed a ten-song show at Tramlines Festival earlier this year, which included Together Forever, Never Gonna Give You Up, and Never Gonna Stop. The Raye cover also featured as part of his show, alongside a cover of O’Chi Brown’s Whenever You Need Somebody.
