The North American leg of The Mountain tour continues, with Gorillaz adding a Song Machine deep cut to their set.
The Damon Albarn-fronted group kicked off their US leg on September 17, filling the setlist with songs from Demon Days and their self-titled debut. Also included were songs from their most recent album, The Mountain. Six songs from the acclaimed album were featured at the Gorillaz show at the Kaseya Center in Miami last night (September 18). Despite the setlist thrills, including the debut outing of Opium on this tour, fans of the band were stunned to see that Stylo, a song frequently performed with Bootie Brown, had been dropped.

This show in Miami is the first time Gorillaz has performed Opium since a show in Alpharetta back in 2022. Despite the inclusion of Opium, fans were far more surprised to see that Stylo had not been included in the show in Miami. One fan took to X and wrote: “They skipped Stylo.”
Another added: “We didn’t get Stylo but we definitely got everything else.” Others were left hoping that The Mountain songs like The Sad God and The Moon Cave remained in the setlist. One person wrote: “I hope they keep The Mountain songs for the South American leg.” Another added: “Why don’t they realise we can have both El Manana and The Moon Cave in one night…”
A third wrote: “For the love of God, we must keep The Moon Cave and The Sad God on the set list for each night.” Gorillaz will perform a series of shows across North America and South America, with two shows scheduled to take place in India in January 2027. Albarn has changed the setlist frequently over the tour, which kicked off in March of this year.
The first Gorillaz show of the US tour made little use of the latest Sparks and Trueno-featuring album, instead relying on Demon Days and Gorillaz, the band’s debut album. Gorillaz performed a 24-song set at the Kia Center in Orlanda, Florida, the first show of The Mountain tour in the US. The band did perform a similar opening to the shows in Europe and the UK, with The Happy Dictator maintaining its spot as the second song of the night.
