Hayley Williams fans may be excited to see the Paramore singer is on tour next year, but the lack of UK tour dates has some fans worried. With a ticket presale set to start on Friday, September 4, those wanting to attend one of the three announced UK shows will have to get lucky in the queue for a chance to see the artist, who released Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party last year.
Williams will perform several shows in Europe and just three in the UK. Dates were announced for Glasgow, Cardiff, and London. While fans may be thrilled by the chance to see the Hard Times hitmaker in 2027, they were horrified to learn the venue Williams’ team had selected for the London date. A full list of tour dates can be found below.
- June 7 – Carroponte, Milan
- June 8 – Cavea-Auditorium Parco della Musica, Rome
- June 14 – Forest National, Brussels
- June 16 – Zénith, Paris
- June 17 – AFAS Live, Amsterdam
- June 23 – OVO Hydro, Glasgow
- June 30 – Utilita Arena, Cardiff
- July 2 – Alexandra Palace, London
Fans were heartbroken by the Alexandra Palace announcement. One took to X after the announcement and wrote: “Hayley Williams in the UK and I could be able to go this time, but I refuse to go to the abysmal Ally Pally.” Another replied: “Genuinely the worst venue ever it needs to be stopped.”
The original poster replied: “I went to a gig there after a whole day at university, and my legs were dying and I was like, ‘Oh well!!! At least I have this.’ Then I went and I couldn’t hear (or see) properly and it was stinky, like ok… never again.”
In a separate post to X, another Williams fan wrote: “Breaking news: Hayley Williams announces London date at the worst venue ever created in the history of the planet. It’s literally in the middle of nowhere, so you have to get a bus, the sound travels AWFULLY inside and the stage compared to the floor is crazily small and hard to see.”
Others were left questioning why Williams had not announced shows in the north of England, with some fans pointing out there had not been a Manchester show announcement. The fan wrote: “No Manchester date for the Hayley Williams show and three shows for the entirety of the UK, ONE for England man what the fuck is happening.”
While fans may be disappointed to see there is no Manchester date, others pointed to a “Glastonbury-sized hole” in her touring schedule. There has been no announcement regarding a possible Glastonbury Festival show from Hayley Williams, who will be opening for Fontaines D.C. at Slane Castle on June 26. Whether Williams or the Griann Chatten-fronted band perform at the Worthy Farm festival is yet to be seen.
