Gorillaz debut deep cut for Primavera Sound 2026 show on The Mountain tour

Gorillaz performed a 20-song show at Primavera Sound last night (June 6) and featured a song they have only played a handful of times.

The Damon Albarn-fronted group began their tour of The Mountain earlier this year with a string of UK and Ireland performances. There, the band performed almost all of their latest album, as well as hit songs from across their discography and a handful of deep cuts. Collaborating artists were also brought out to perform some of the songs, with Little Simz appearing for a performance of Garage Palace. The Humanz song was given its tour debut on the Primavera Sound 2026 stage. With Love to an Ex, a song featured on the band’s Song Machine: Season One album, was also performed for the first time on this tour.

The band’s performance at the 3Arena tonight marks the last UK and Ireland tour date until a show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium later this year. A North American and South American leg is scheduled for the end of the year, with European festival dates also scheduled.
