Saturday Night Live UK has been hailed by fans for a particular comedian’s “manic” style of humour.
The most recent broadcast on April 25 has gone viral, with many fans singling out George Fouracres for his forty-five-second snippet at the end of the episode. Fouracres performed a brief song at the end of the show, which frequently used the line “…Epstein didn’t kill himself.” The comedian, who referenced the child sex offender frequently in the song, was praised for the shock value involved in his performance. Fans flooded to X where they shared their thoughts on Fouracres’ line delivery and the context of the song.
One viewer wrote: “There’s a manic, no fucks given energy from George Fouracres that really makes him feel dangerous, like some sort of comedic suicide bomber. If he’s going out, he’s taking all of us with him.” Another added: “This has been going nonstop in my head since I saw it this morning. And that’s a good thing.”
A third joked: “There’s something hilarious to me about the knowledge that Jimmy Fallon was there to watch this glorious sketch unfold.” Others have called the moment “peak telly,” while another fan pinpointed what works so well for Fouracres’ style of comedy.
“George Fouracres is such a gem,” they wrote. “He is constantly messing around with his line delivery for maximum comedic effect, and it’s class. He says ‘Grrrreece’ in this episode in a way that made me genuinely howl.”
Another praised the catchy final moments of the show, adding: “Mind you I’ll be singing this in my head for the rest of my life.” A third simply wrote: “Outstanding.”
Fouracres, a member of the comedy group Daphne alongside Phil Wang and Jason Forbes, was announced as a member of the Saturday Night Live UK cast earlier this year. Fouracres, who also portrays Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer on the show, was announced alongside Hammed Animmashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi, and Paddy Young in February this year.
The long-awaited launch of Saturday Night Live UK came on March 21, 2026, with longtime SNL alumni Tina Fey hosting the first show. Hosts from there have featured Riz Ahmed, Jack Whitehall, and Jamie Dornan. The show has also featured musical guests including Wet Leg, Wolf Alice, and Foo Fighters.
Aimee Lou Wood is set to host the next episode of the show, with musical guests MEEK also announced. The next epsiode of Saturday Night Live UK will be broadcast on May 2. Hosts and musical acts for further episodes of the show have not yet been announced.
