Bob Dylan setlist for first Spring 2026 show of April features greatest hits and Oh Mercy deep cut

Bob Dylan continued his Spring 2026 tour with a performance at the DeVos Performance Hall in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The veteran performer, 84, played deep cuts from Oh Mercy and also featured some of his greatest hits, with All Along the Watchtower and When I Paint My Masterpiece both featuring in the sixteen-song setlist. Dylan, whose tour is set to continue well into the summer, will tour North America for much of April and May before a brief break. He will head out on the road once more over summer, with a handful of dates for his performances from June onwards already announced. Further dates may be added to the tour, though this has not yet been confirmed.

It comes after Dylan’s previous show at the Emens Auditorium in Munice, Indianapolis, was praised by fans as the best show of the Spring 2026 tour so far. One fan wrote: “I have seen Bob Dylan a few times, but this was definitely the best show I’ve been to. I was only a few feet from the stage. He seemed so happy and really engaged with the music; it was amazing! Who else is enjoying the tour?”

One attendee replied: “I was in the front row, such a great performance!” Another added: “It was an amazing show. The crowd was great and had an amazing energy. Bob was great as always, and loved the new arrangements of the Rough and Rowdy Ways songs. I saw him at Elliot Hall sometime last year, and that was almost like a darker atmosphere, but with these new arrangements, they felt a lot lighter and carried the words he’s written in a much different way. Overall, an amazing show!”

A third person asked whether Dylan had been picked up by the microphone, with some fans previously citing difficulties hearing the veteran musician at work. The original poster replied: “Yes! The bottom mic wasn’t really picking him up as well, so he stood for a lot of the concert and really got into the harmonica on Every Grain of Sand.”

The Spring 2026 tour replaced the five-year-long Rough and Rowdy Ways tour, with Dylan performing what fans believe to be his best show of the tour on March 31.
