Paul McCartney has issued a statement on his most recent show with fans still hopeful a European tour will be announced.
The Beatles and Wings member performed at Apple’s Headquarters in California, United States earlier this week, and fans of the veteran rocker, 83, hope for further dates to follow. McCartney performed two shows at The Fonda Theatre last month, and concluded the Got Back tours in the United States in late 2025. But fans believe further dates in Europe could be on the way to promote his upcoming album, The Boys of Dungeon Lane. A statement from McCartney regarding his most recent show has since been issued by the legendary performer.
He took to Instagram and wrote: “We had a lot of fun playing for the people at Apple at their headquarters in Cupertino. I can’t believe it’s been 50 years since Steve Jobs gave me my first iPhone, but that’s the truth! It was lovely to be there to help Tim Cook and his great team celebrate their birthday.”
Speculation among fans is rife over whether McCartney will announce a European tour for 2026. La Parisien reports that a European tour is in the works for later this year. The French publication wrote: “According to our sources, there should be a tour following the album’s release, with concerts in Europe at the end of 2026.”
McCartney has not toured the UK or Europe since 2024. He performed four shows in the UK, two in Manchester and two in London, on his last outing. A full setlist for his March 31 performance at Apple Headquarters can be found below.

Fans rallied around McCartney in the hopes that the Let It Be hitmaker would confirm details of a tour this year. One wrote: “As an European who currently lives a couple of miles from Fonda and is devastated not getting a ticket, this is the consolation I very much needed right now. Hopefully it’s true.
“To everyone who is hopeless and looking for a ticket, I suggest either going all in and doing whatever it takes, if it’s worth it for you and you’re willing (!), or just accept the situation, close Reddit, and move on with your life. It’s tough, but I chose the second.”
Another added: “This BLOOWSS. He completely skipped the Mid-Atlantic on his U.S. tour now he’s just skipping over to Europe I hate this.” A third wrote: “Had a look at the O2 London website. A bit of space in December.”
