Two acoustic performances from the late Jerry Garcia had the Grateful Dead founder perform covers of his best songs, and some other classics.
Garcia would play a matinee show and a late performance on the same day, with the two gigs featuring covers of Bob Dylan, Merle Haggard, and Grateful Dead. Garcia would play a total of twenty-eight songs across the two sets on April 10, 1982 at the Capitol Theatre in Passaic, New Jersey. The two acoustic shows are, according to Setlist FM, the only performances Garcia would give as a solo artist with acoustic instruments. It would also be the last pair of full shows he performed alone, with a brief appearance at an event celebrating his life in 1986 and a gig at The Log Cabin in San Anselmo, California, the following day, marking the final two appearances of Garcia as a solo artist.
