What Radiohead performed during third of four Madrid shows, including Just for first time since 2009

Radiohead continues to change their setlist on their first series of shows since 2018, adding Just to the set for the first time since 2009.

The Thom Yorke-fronted group performed their third of four gigs in Madrid, Spain last night (November 7) and introduced a few new songs to the show. Radiohead also performed a series of deep cuts and songs from albums like A Moon Shaped Pool and Hail to the Thief. Their performance at the Movistar Arena in Madrid, Spain, is the first of four shows from the band in Spain. They will also perform in Germany, England, and Denmark. The band performed Sit Down. Stand Up. for the first time since 2004 and also featured songs like The National Anthem and Weird Fishes/Arpeggi in a show that has been praised by attendees and those who saw clips of the show online.

It is believed the band will change their setlist on future shows after it was confirmed they had rehearsed more than sixty songs. A full setlist for their third show in Madrid, Spain, can be found below.

In a statement to fans, drummer Philip Selway shared further details. He said: “Last year, we got together to rehearse, just for the hell of it. After a seven-year pause, it felt really good to play the songs again and reconnect with a musical identity that has become lodged deep inside all five of us.

“It also made us want to play some shows together, so we hope you can make it to one of the upcoming dates. For now, it will just be these ones but who knows where this will all lead.” It’s a hugely different set from the one Radiohead played in their previous show seven years ago.

The set was filled with hits from the band’s discography, as well as a few rarities and even their rejected James Bond theme song, Spectre. It was a set which provided the Wells Fargo Centre crowd in Philadelphia with two encores and a selection of greatest hits from the band. The setlist below was performed on the second night of a two-date stop off at the Wells Fargo Centre.
