What Pulp performed during first of two co-headliner shows with LCD Soundsystem at Hollywood Bowl

A co-headline show between Pulp and LCD Soundsystem saw the Jarvis Cocker-fronted band play a stripped-back set.

It’s the penultimate set on their More tour, with a double bill of shows at the Hollywood Bowl in California rounding out their 2025 tour. Their twelve-song set is a hits-heavy experience with Disco 2000, Spike Island, and Common People inevitable inclusions. It makes a huge difference to the set the band played at their Red Rocks show, where an unreleased song featured on the setlist and Joyriders made an appearance in the encore. It seems there was no time for an encore with this show; instead, Pulp ended on Common People and made way for the LCD Soundsystem headline show.

The show was still crammed with quality, as Pulp found plenty of time to cover hits from their historic discography as well as feature a few songs from their latest album, More. A full setlist for the September 25 show can be found below.

  • Sorted for E’s & Wizz

The band will play just one more show this year at the Hollywood Bowl. Mark Webber, Pulp’s guitarist, will set out on a tour of his own later this year. The book tour will see him talk about I’m With Pulp, Are You? as well as stories about his time in Pulp. Webber will begin the tour on October 5 in Lincoln, just a short while after the band performs their final More shows of 2025.

His statement reads: “When the Pulp tour is over… I’m going on tour! But this time I don’t think I’ll be taking my guitar. I’ll be travelling around the UK to talk about my book, I’m With Pulp, Are You?, the 30th anniversary of Different Class, and all things Pulp.” A full list of dates can be found below, while remaining tickets can be purchased through this link.

  • October 5 – Lincoln, Lincoln Book Festival

A thirtieth anniversary remastering of Different Class is also set for release later this year. Webber and Cocker headed to Abbey Road to remaster the album, which will release on October 24.

A statement from the band reads: “The audio has been remastered/mastered by Geoff Pesche at Abbey Road, overseen by Jarvis Cocker and Mark Webber, and is presented in a sturdy slipcase with a comprehensive, 28-page booklet featuring extensive notes from new interviews with the band members, plus previously unseen images from photographers Rankin and Donald Milne (who took the photos for the original release) and the band’s own archives.

“The original ‘aperture’ sleeve design, which invited purchasers to ‘Choose your own front cover’, came with six double-sided inserts/art cards of alternative cover images depicting cardboard cutouts of the band members in a variety of situations. This has been fully recreated, and a 12” by 12” poster featuring miniatures of the cutouts themselves is also included.”
