Lewis Capaldi has been confirmed as a headliner for the BST Hyde Park shows in Summer 2026.
The Someone You Loved hitmaker marked his return to the stage earlier this year with a surprise slot at Glastonbury Festival. Capaldi, 28, has since been confirmed for a headline slot at BST Hyde Park and Roundhay Festival in Leeds. Jim King, CEO of AEG Presents UK and European Festivals, praised Capaldi and the two shows as a “milestone” moment for music. Capaldi will perform in Leeds on July 4, and at Hyde Park in London on July 11. The pair of shows come as additions to already announced tour dates in Dublin, Limerick, and Cardiff. Capaldi will also play Belfast and Manchester after the Hyde Park show. A full line-up for the BST Hyde Park and Roundhay Festival shows will be announced at a later date.

On the Roundhay Festival show, King added: “We’re proud to announce Lewis Capaldi as the first ever Roundhay Festival headliner in 2026, a true milestone moment. His heartfelt, powerful voice makes him the perfect artist to launch this new chapter, and his much-awaited comeback will be unforgettable.”
Roundhay Park, one of Europe’s largest city parks, spans over 700 acres of lakes, woodlands, formal gardens, playgrounds and the Tropical World visitor attraction. Legendary acts that have performed at the park include The Rolling Stones, Genesis, Madonna, Michael Jackson, U2, and Ed Sheeran.
Presale for the Roundhay Festival show goes on sale today (September 15) through Amex at 10am. Artist presale begins on Thursday, September 18, at 10am. General sale will begin on Friday, September 19, at 9am.
Tickets for the BST Hyde Park sale, including Amex, artist presale, and general onsale, will begin on the same days as the Roundhay Festival sales. A statement from BST Hyde Park has confirmed the performance, with the Before You Go songwriter confirmed as the second headliner for next year’s shows.
Garth Brooks was announced as the first headliner earlier this week. A statement confirming Capaldi’s headline slot reads: “Record-breaking singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi will be playing his biggest UK festival headline show to date next year at American Express presents BST Hyde Park 2026.”
A confirmation of Brooks’ show reads: “Presenting your first American Express presents BST Hyde Park headliner for 2026 – one of the biggest selling artists of all time, the man who brought country music to the globe and a mega star who has not played in the UK since 1998!”
