Oasis fans are wondering whether the band will extend their Live ’25 tour as they notice a major tour schedule absence.
Noel and Liam Gallagher will reunite on stage for the first time in sixteen years this July, following the announcement of Oasis live shows. Most of the shows are sold out following a controversial dynamic ticket pricing Ticketmaster sale. Fans who missed out on tickets to the upcoming dates in Cardiff, Edinburgh, Manchester, and London, are wondering if more dates are yet to be announced. Some listeners are hoping the duo would continue into 2026, and while management has suggested this is very much a one-and-done deal, Liam Gallagher has suggested there could be more to come. Fans took to the r/Oasis subreddit and wondered whether a key absence on the tour would mean the band are back for a little longer than first thought.
One user asked: “How long will it last? Realistically speaking, how long do you reckon the reunion will go on for? Do you reckon it’ll be a one-time thing, or do you reckon they’ll be like the Stones until they’re in their 70s?” Fans are split on what to expect from the band over the next few years, but did note a series of European dates would not go amiss.
A fan wrote: “There’s a conspicuous absence of European dates, but that could mean anything. I think they’re just seeing how this goes… obviously not commercially, they sold out a bunch of stadiums with heist-level ticket prices, so they’re okay there… but seeing if they can handle working together without damaging whatever relationship they’ve managed to patch up.
“But I wouldn’t be surprised if this is goodbye for the band. Maybe Knebworth next year. So take it all in if you were lucky enough to get a ticket.” Another agreed, adding: “Yeah I reckon 2026, they do European dates along with Knebworth.” A third wrote: “They owe Paris a show.”
While there is no indication of continuing on after these live shows, fans remain hopeful and hope to see what occurs after the “dust settles”. One user wrote: “I think they’ll do this tour and think about it once the dust settles. My guess is that they’ll continue with their solo careers, getting together every few years for big gigs and festivals.”
Another added: “It wouldn’t shock me if this tour is the last hurrah, and they’ve both hinted at that possibility. Then again, it also wouldn’t shock me if they get back together every once in a while afterwards. I don’t consider it very likely that this turns into Oasis existing full-time again. But what the hell do I know?”
A third wrote: “After this year’s concerts, probably there will be European dates and that’s it. They’re getting old, the money they will get from this tour will be HUGE, so… They might go back to their solo stuff and eventually play a concert together here and there. And that’s it.”
