Bob Dylan is hitting the road once again with the Rough and Rowdy Ways tour extending to April 2025.
It comes off the back of a three show run at London’s Royal Albert Hall which many believed would be the swansong of the Mr. Tambourine Man songwriter. But the show must go on and Dylan, 83, has confirmed four shows will take place in 2025 so far. It comes after an initial tour date announcement at the Tulsa Theater in Oklahoma on March 25. Three further dates are now confirmed for Kansas, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
Tickets are on sale from January 31 for the Kansas and Wisconsin dates while the Minnesota show is on sale from February 1. A full list of announced shows for the Rough and Rowdy Ways tour can be found below.
March 25 – Tulsa, Oklahoma
March 29 – Wichita, Kansas
April 4 – Mankato, Minnesota
April 6 – Green Bay, Wisconsin
Ticketmaster and on-site listings to the shows are now live though are not yet able to be purchased. General on sale is set to start at 10am CST on Friday, January 31 for the Kansas and Wisconsin shows.
The shows are confirmed to be phone-free experiences with Century II in Wichita confirming no electronic devices would be permitted. Their statement reads: “This show will be a phone-free experience. Use of cellphones, cameras, or recording devices will not be permitted in the performance space.
“Upon arrival at the venue, all phones will be secured in Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. Guests maintain possession of their phones at all times and can access their phones throughout the event at designated Phone Use Area in the venue. All phones will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the event space.
“Anyone seen using a cellphone during the performance will be escorted out of the venue. Guests are encouraged to bring a bank or credit card for purchases inside the venue. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free viewing experience.”
It will come as no surprise to those who have attended the Rough and Rowdy Ways tour, with no gigs from Dylan, aside from performances as part of the Outlaw Tour, permitting the use of phones.
The Rough and Rowdy Ways tour, supporting the 2020 album of the same name, is set to enter its fourth year of touring after a triple set of shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall closed out the 2024 leg. Appearances in Liverpool and Nottingham preceded the shows on the UK leg of the tour. It is unclear whether Dylan plans to take the show overseas, or if this is just a US tour.
