Bob Dylan is back on tour and is taking Rough and Rowdy Ways to Tulsa.
A performance listing for Dylan at the Tulsa Theater appeared on their website and appears to be the first tour date for the Rough and Rowdy Ways show this year. Keen-eyed Dylan fans pointed out a slight change to the backdrop of Dylan’s tour dates on the official website, with the “2021-’24” tag removed without announcement. It sparked suggestions of future tour dates, which are now starting to appear. Just one date is available at time of writing (January 21).
An update to the official Bob Dylan website confirmed tickets would be available for a performance in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on January 25. A link to tickets can be found here for his show on Tuesday, March 25. It is unclear if future dates will be announced, though it would be likely.
Dylan expert and Flagging Down the Double E’s newsletter creator Ray Padgett pointed out the change to the Dylan tour page backdrop and dubbed it the “Never Ending Rough and Rowdy Ways Tour”.
The Rough and Rowdy Ways tour, supporting the 2020 album of the same name, is set to enter its fourth year of touring after a triple set of shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall closed out the 2024 leg. Appearances in Liverpool and Nottingham preceded the shows on the UK leg of the tour. It is unclear whether Dylan plans to take the show overseas, or if this is just a US tour.
Dylan’s gig in Tulsa, dated March 25, 2025, has a phone-free policy, common for the Rough and Rowdy Ways show so far. Ticket prices are not yet available but VIP package details, including front row, gold hot seat, and silver hot seat categories, are confirmed.
Venue presale begins on January 24 at 10am, CST, while public sales start the day after at 10am.
The phone-free policy Dylan applied to his Rough and Rowdy Ways shows, excluding a brief period of touring with Willie Nelson and Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin. The Outlaw Tour preceded the European leg of the Rough and Rowdy Ways tour schedule and saw Dylan return classics like All Along the Watchtower and Desolation Row to the set, changes which remained in the Rough and Rowdy Ways shows to follow.
